This page explains what cookies are, which ones this website uses, and how you can control them.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site owner.
2. Cookies we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|
| bundu_cookie_consent | Remembers your cookie consent choice so we don't ask again on every visit. | Essential (stored in your browser's local storage, not a tracking cookie) |
| PHPSESSID | Lets the enquiry form show a confirmation or error message after you submit it. | Essential (session only, deleted when you close your browser) |
| Google Analytics (if enabled) | Helps us understand how visitors use the site, in aggregate, so we can improve it. | Analytics, only loaded if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner |
We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. Third-party cookies
Our Contact page embeds a Google Map, which may set its own cookies once loaded, in line with Google's privacy and cookie policies. If you'd prefer not to load this, you can get directions or find us by searching "Rant-en-Dal, Krugersdorp" directly in Google Maps or your preferred maps app.
4. Managing cookies
You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using the banner shown on your first visit. You can also control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; note that blocking essential cookies may affect how parts of this site work, such as form confirmation messages.
